Silent-video subtitle exercise, 3 November 2026 Source video: https://www.usenativ.com/videos/feature-1.mp4 This is an existing public Nativ creative-localisation demonstration, not new customer work or a fresh test of the localisation engine. The original file has no audio stream. demo-with-caption-space.mp4 preserves its picture sequence, adds a 260-pixel black band below the 720x406 picture, and re-encodes the video for this browser preview. The band gives the subtitles room outside the artwork. source-en.srt: three newly authored English visual summaries, timed manually to three artwork groups. These are not a transcript of speech, an exact transcription of every on-image word, a translation of the product instructions, or a complete accessibility assessment. For your own deliverable, decide which information the viewer needs and preserve all of that meaning. draft-fr.srt: supplied editorial French draft text inserted by the actual Nativ SRT export method in an isolated offline exercise. No model, account, cloud storage, authenticated API, paid operation or qualified language review was used. It demonstrates file structure and preview, not approved translation quality. The source and draft retain the same three timing intervals. source-en.vtt / draft-fr.vtt: converted from those SRT files with FFmpeg. No fixed cue positioning is imposed; the browser uses its normal subtitle layout. The added caption band makes room outside the artwork. Playback controls can change placement, so check the actual player at the intended screen sizes. These files are not a Nativ VTT export. Nativ's subtitle path in this article takes SRT/ITT. Convert to VTT separately. Preview intervals: 00:00:00.500 - 00:00:09.500: how-to artwork in multiple language versions. 00:00:10.500 - 00:00:16.500: product-benefits artwork in multiple versions. 00:00:18.000 - 00:00:25.800: dos-and-don'ts artwork in multiple versions. A text description of the preview: The silent montage first shows a three-panel how-to design: a cosmetic stick, a sponge applicator and a person with contour dots on their face. The headings and body copy change between languages while the layout remains recognisable. The second group shows three cosmetic sticks beneath product-benefit labels. The final group shows two lip-product sticks beside a list of dos and don'ts. This group also changes between language versions. The optional timed text summarises those visual groups. No speech, music or meaningful sound is present.
